Royal Court of Tintaria

At the head of the Tintaria is the royal court. All decisions made within come driectly from the emperor with the help of his advisors. The Emperor, head of the Dragon clan, has final say in all matters however.

These advisors are taken from the six noblest clans in the country.

Prior to the Great War the six clans that used to advise the emperor were, in order of importance, Phoenix, Qilin, Turtle, Tiger, Crane and Beech. However after the war several of these clans suffered from the great changes and the phoenix clan in particular lost its rank and favour within the royal court as people came to distrust them for their dealing with the now forbidden magics.

The current ranking clans have some similarities with the original six but only some remain. They are in order of importance Qilin, Crane, Beech, Turtle, Bear and Eagle.

The Oak clan however has always held a special position within the court as neutral defenders of the throne. They have long been the ones to ferret out traitors and poisoners on the emperor's behalf. Currently it is Tasha Itune head of the Oak Clan who holds this position at court.

Also at court are five ambassadors and their aides representing the four neighbouring countries and one smaller island off the north western coast. These countries are Ramadaar to the west, Fereheen to the east, Somelia to the South East, Paduia Vernen to the South West and the island Republic of Free Nevestin.
