In Venutia the group meet up with the ambassador for Ramadaar that they would be escorting back to Tintar. At the same time a lively dwarven bard hears that they are on the way to the city and asks if she can join them part of the way. On entering the city the Ambassador and his companion leave the group.
Formally invited to a party held in their honour at the mayor's residence, the group make themselves ready and appear ready and not quite willing to do their duty. Master Jacques asks the mayor which families he must repay for breaking the urns in the graveyard.
Meanwhile Kasha is avoiding notice from most members of the room hoping not to run into anyone that knows her. A tall swave nobleman tries to make her aquaintance but her reticance to be seen hinders his progress.
Storm and Adoni are met by the dwarven bard who has become very enthused but what she is hearing and asks if she may write a song about it.
Master Jacques, having tracked down a member of the Snake Clan, makes his apologies for breaking the burial urn. The man scowls at him but accepts his apology and after a quick agreement with his fellow clan members hands Master Jacques a list of things they will take in payment for their sorrows. He quickly agrees and goes to track down the second family he dishonoured.
The music at the party stops as a shout of anger echoes around the hall. A young man heads straight for Master Jacques and tells him nothing will make up for the dishonour that he has brought on his grandfather's grave. Storming out Master Jacques is hindered from following by an old woman who introduces herself as the boy's grandmother. She apologises and states her husband was a cleric and would have loved the idea of helping from beyond the grave. Accepting an offer of a new grave urn from Master Jacques she moves on into the crowd.
The party goes on long into the night and the mayor keeps trying to convince the group to come to his district to live however they know that they must meet Wei Farimh in the morning.
