Name Manus
Height 5"
Natural Weapons Claws on all limbs
Language Cannot speak, telepathic

The first reference to a Manus demon was made by a roman scholar who created a grimoire of demons that had infiltrated the empire of Rome. This grimoire has since been lost but information from it has been cited in other volumes.

Manus demons, named for the roman word for hand, have a hunched frame and four limbs, each ending in a small five fingered hand with three long claws. Their hunched frame gives them the appearance of a hairless gorilla if you cannot see their faces.

Their visage is elongated and they have no visible nose, mouth or eyes. Two bat-like ears are the only indication that there is a face at all.

Manus demons are among the small group of demons known to leave so called spirit footprints instead of actual tracks, making finding them a tricky business.

These demons rarely work alone, always being found in groups of five. Mercenary by nature they carry out their master's orders to the letter.

Often referred to as 'The hand that holds the sword'
