Having completed one mission for Wei Farimh and being told to meet him in a day the group decide to follow up on the rumours of a figure in the grave yard. Speaking to people in market they find that the figure has been there for at least a moon. Also the presence has scared away many a mourner who tries to approach the site at night.

Curious the group head to the Graveyard and attempt to enter it only to find that the doors are shut. As they search to find another entrance a halfling appears on the wall asking them why they wish to enter.

Introducing themselves the halfling reveals herself as Tian Wu and states that she is protecting the people of Tintar from the undead who are unexpectedly rising within the graveyard. Master Jacques who hates the undead with a fervour close to that of Tian Wu's asks to be let in so he can aid her. She refuses, promptly thwarting his attempt at climbing over the wall by knocking him off it. Some diplomacy in order they convince her to accept their aid.

Resigned to let them help she asks them to gather the ingredients necessary for her to cast a guardian spell over the graveyard. The group agree. Returning just before night fall Tian Wu is pleased at their speed. Taking the supplies she warns them that she cannot be interrupted while the spell is in effect as she will then have to start again. Therefore the group must defend themselves and her from the undead that are within.

Imediately they enter the graveyard the group are set upon by some ghouls that they fight off with minor difficulty. Moving warily towards the central altar they realise that a Sandman awaits them. This too they dispatch trying to keep their distance from its grasp.

Stealthily the group spread out to light candles at each of the other alters within the graveyard. Mostly avoiding the undead that are prowling around. Some skirmishes are inevitable and, with the help of some burial urns, Master Jacques dispatched a pair of skeletons nearest to him while the others removed similar foes around them. An alarm sounds warning them to return to Tian Wu who is about to be attacked. Kasha unfortunately wounds a friend however in the thick of the battle much to the amusement of Tian Wu who later applauds her for hindering the undead from getting there first.

The group fends off the foes until Tian Wu puts the final touches on the spell at which point a great ghostly hound appears at her feet and howls. As it chases the rest of the undead away the group are amazed to find three figures still standing with the hound growling at their feet.

Master Jacques identifies the central figure as a Gheden and promtly attacks them correctly assuming they are the raisers of the army. The two followers of the Gheden are masked and avoid his attacks with ease, one of them blinding him in the process. In the resulting chaos they escape though Master Jacques spends the rest of the night trailing them before losing their tracks.

Back at the White Swan Storm hears strange noises coming from the room next door. The room occupied by Patal Shun.
