Faced with ethereal beings Adoni believes he has died and on being informed that he has helped release a demon is worried he will go to hell. Finding he is not dead Adoni is relieved but the information that the group get from the Ethereal Elves makes the trio worried.
The creature that they helped unearth is a demon whose name (Liang mian tai de gui ju) simply means two-faced demon. A powerful demon who the elves have watched over for centuries. On further conversation the Law Swords tell the group what Breeze had begun to fear. It is on their heads to find and return the demon to its bouund state. The elves themselves cannot risk the demon finding them and passing on their location to its fellows. Extracting a promise from them that they would accept this quest the elves return them to Dragon Mountain.
Suddenly aware of the task that they face and realising that they are not strong enough to fight the demon directly yet, the trio decide to investigate the mountain. It is their hope that within they will find a weapon or something of use.
Leaving the packs and most weapons (including the demon swords) under the guard of Adoni's animal companion. Delving into the passageways it isn't long before Adoni and Breeze discover another effect of the swords they pulled from the demon. A powerful pull draws them back to the entrance and the swords. Storm confirms what is now obvious, they are cursed. Bound to the ones that handled them until, she assumes, the demon is trapped again. The only bright side is that Storm has yet to touch the weapons.
Dejected the group have to wait until the next day before they can reenter the mountain. Sometime during the morning Kasha finds her way up to the trio following their voices from the shrine. She confirms that the bandits are long gone.
Moving with the group back into the mountain she helps to unlock the passage into the deeper realms of the mountain.
It becomes clear as they progress that this was a dragon stronghold. However it has been many years since it has been occupied. Fighting of a swarm of bats the group find an old library. Though many books are either missing or destroyed Storm does manage to locate a draconic spellbook.
An entrance marked only those of the order may enter intrigues them and the group push on. Kasha hangs back however and slips away unnoticed to further search the library for the knowledge that her profession thrives on.
The search of the orders main setions reveals many strange items. One is a treaty between five dragon races hidden within a small alter. The other seems to be a war room that contains a stone table that has an accurate depiction of the six countries with all the contours. With this table are five dragons, one for each race. only one reacts to the table fully wrapping itself around the spire of Tintar.
One room draws all the trios attention when they discover it. Covered in a thin layer of lava that is warm but not harming (thanks to an endure elements spell) Storm's element sense detects water within. Directing Breeze she leads him to a round object that turns out to be a glass ball with a ring within it.
A voice startles them as they try to leave. "Master is that you?" When they do not answer the voice asks who they are. Moving from the room with the ring the trio notice that the lava is gathering together and eventually forms a crude humanoid shape. "Please replace teh ring" it states. "You cannot take it". Breeze who realises that they might have to escape quickly sends the other two ahead as he knows he can run faster than them. Keeping the lava golem occupied by asking it questions, Breeze waits until he is believes the others are safely away.
He quickly learns that he underestimated the speed at which the golem could move and it is only by pure luck and quick reflexes that he avoids being struck by the lava that tries to flow over him. Reaching the final lava flow river that marks the entrance he makes a jump for it only to realise he will fall short. With quick thinking Adoni and Storm reach out and pull him out of reach of the lava wall that follows.
Safely out of the mountain the group watch the golem pace the entrance unable to follow them. It bows its head in defeat and walks back into the mountain.
The group return to Tintar aware that they still need to debrief with Wei Farimh.
