Not soon after leaving the second massacred village the group run into the wagon they have been chasing. Steering it is Peter. When confronted by the players he points out that he arrived after the slaughter. He also states that he is in fact on his way to unearth an entrapped being of light who will destroy the thing that caused the massacre.
Giving him the benefit of the doubt they join him and arrive at the shrine later that day. Adoni notices that Peter's grandfather's necklace is glowing slightly. When questioning Peter he explains that it shines when a like minded creature is near or one of his grandfather's order.
Peter then explains that the creature he need to release is buried under the shrine. Removing the shrine himself he asks help to dig up the tomb below. Adoni and Breeze take to the shovels though Breeze is wary of what they are doing having noticed Peter's purple eyes. Meanwhile Storm begins to investigate the area above the shrine and finds an entrance into Dragon Mountain.
The tomb is revealed to be a large rock with five seals wrapped around it. Taking care to not get in the way of the protection spells while opening the seals they manage to open the rock tomb. Within they find an ashy outline of the being Peter wishes to awaken pinned down by three demonic swords.
Storm returns and the group argue about whether or not to remove the swords at Peter's behest with Breeze calling for caution. However Adoni finally decides to draw the weapons free. Peter brushes the ash together and places it in a small box. He then goes to his wagon and starts to leave. Suddenly aware something is amiss the group try to follow but Peter roars at them to leave him alone.
They stubbornly follow him until he stops and attacks them. His countenance has now changed as his fingers become clawlike and he suddenly sends Storm into the air. He then proceeds to beat Adoni into unconciousness as Breeze does all he can to protect the City Soul. Storm keeps her calm while suspended and sends flame spell after spell at Peter until he turns to deal with her and knocks her out also. Breeze makes a stealthy retreat while a much worse for wear Peter takes his wagon to leave.
Stabalising his two associates Breeze waits for night to fall. In the darkness he sees ghostlike figures approach. Small pinpricks hit his neck and after a valiant effort to fight off the poison he succumbs and falls asleep.
When they all wake they find themselves in an ethereal city no longer on their own plane of existance.
